LaserShield is a wireless home security system that can be installed and activated without drilling holes. LaserShield is a simple DIY security system that can be installed within minutes by anyone, and is an ideal solution for people who are renting property and are not allowed to make renovations to their home. LaserShield is also ideal for students living away from home on campus wanting to secure their possessions, and by anyone else who moves frequently from location to location.
The LaserShield system comes with a motion detection sensor, a base unit, two key-chain remote controls, pet shield, and five window decals. The motion detection sensor can be placed on any shelf, table or desk, and connects automatically to the base unit via wireless technology. The motion detection sensor can detect motion within a 1200 square feet area. The motion detection sensor plugs into any standard power socket, and has a battery backup in the event of a power failure.
The LaserShield base unit, which contains the loud 105 decibel siren, is plugged into any standard power socket, and has a 12 hour battery backup in the event of a power failure. The LaserShield base unit plugs into a standard phone line, and automatically calls a central monitoring station when the system detects an intruder. The 24/7 Emergency Response Service costs $20 per month, and monitoring is optional and requires no long term contract or any credit check. Activation details are included with system. The emergency response service rapidly summons the authorities in the event of an emergency.
The LaserShield system comes with two key-chain remote control units which can arm and disarm the system at the press of a button. The LaserShield system also includes four panic buttons, which can be pressed in the event of an emergency to trigger the alarm and call the emergency response service. Included in the system is a pet shield, which is handy if you own pets, and you don’t want your pets to trigger the alarm. Take a look at the demonstration video below to see how easy it is to set up the LaserShield security system…
Up to 12 motion detection sensor units can be connected to the master base unit, and each wireless detection unit costs $60. For larger homes, you may need two or three wireless motion detection sensors. Additional key-chain remote controls can also be purchased. A GSM cellular adapter can be purchased for the LaserShield system, and is an ideal solution for customers without a landline phone or those seeking added protection from cut wired phone lines. A broadband (Sparrow) adaptor can also be purchased which allows your LaserShield to transmit alarm signals to the emergency response facility over a high speed internet connection.

I have one – these are good systems. There are more videos on YouTube too showing how it works. http://www.youtube.com/user/LaserShieldDirect
